– Retired from the U.S. Army as an Intelligence Analyst and subsequently retired from the Federal Government in as a GS-15, Senior Advisor to the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FINCEN).
– Mr. Gaines is an Ordained Minister and a Service-Disabled Veteran.
– Served in numerous ministry positions to include but not limited to interim pastor, youth pastor, Sunday School teacher, and grief share facilitator for twelve years.
– Educational achievements include a Master’s Degree in Practical Theology from Regent University and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Troy State University.
– Has earned numerous awards to include the Army Superior Unit Award, Civilian Meritorious Service Medal, five Army Achievement Medals, four Army Commendation Medals, four Army Good Conduct Medals, National Defense Service Medal, Superior Civilian Service Award and two Meritorious Service Medals.
